This week, Revs. AndreaGrace and Jane Audrey-Neuhauser co-lead a beautiful, uplifting, Blue Christmas service for anyone who was feeling weary or blue this Christmas season. The evening was filled with music and readings. We prayed through a variety of experiences, allowing attendees to recognize our pain and also gently inviting in the hope, peace, joy and love that God gifts us, especially through Christ’s birth. Chaplains were available for one-on-one prayer, as well.

May the God of our Hearts – help us to be present to both the weariness, pain and grief in our lives as well as the hope, peace, joy and love. And through this Christ-mas season, may we come to know God’s love more intimately and share it more abundantly.
